Rowe (2003) demonstrated that auditory and/or visual input alone was not sufficient for normal adults on a novel procedural task involving the construction of a novel object using origami craft. The 21 male participants between the ages of 18 and 21 attended Michigan State University. Participants learned an origami task under one of three input conditions: auditory verbal instructions only, auditory verbal plus visual demonstration only, and auditory verbal, visual demonstartion and tactually-meditated or "hands-on" input. Participant learning was assessed immediately after completion of the initial instructions for the origami task and after a 20-minute time interval. Participants were judged on their ability to non-verbally reproduce the origami task and their ability to verbally describe the procedures for doing the task.

What Great Britain did was justified? Yes or no? From 1607-1759 and from 1760-1853. The colonial era in the prior and the industrial revolution in the latter. How would you feel if you were a person that lived during the 17th century, but you happened to be brought up in a Native American tribe? How would you feel if you were a person that lived during the mid-19th century, but you were brought up in Nepal? How would you feel if you were a person that lived during either the 17th, 18th, or during the first half of the 19th century, but you were forced to travel over 4,000 miles ("The Great Trek") - from central Nigeria to The Cape of Good Hope - on foot while shackled with iron chains and iron clasps at both your neck and ankles connecting the men in your community that rightfully owned the land that you were stolen from, to be sent to multiple human expeditionary camps on Island in the Caribbean Sea, and then awaiting a final sea-bound ship to be enslaved by manual labor for the remainder of your life in the land of the "New Order of the Ages", called the United States of America.

Skinner (1904-1990) was an American psychologist best know for his research into the learning process and his belief in a planned society.  Skinner was a leading supporter of programmed instruction, in which the principles of learning determined in the laboratory are applied to classroom teaching.  He also became known as a student of behavioral psychology, the study of the observable behavior of human beings.  In a popular book, "Walden Two" (1948), Skinner described his idea of an ideal planned society based on principles of learning.  In "Beyond Freedom and Dignity" (1971), he called for restrictions of individual freedoms that hinder the development of the ideal planned society. Burrhus Frederic Skinner was born in Susquehanna, PA.  He graduated from Hamilton College in 1926.  He became interested in the work of the American behavioral psychologist John B. Watson and the Russian physiologist Ivan P. Pavlov.  Skinner recieved his Ph.D. in psychology from Harvard in 1931.  He then spent several years studying animal learning and the functions of the central nervous system.  In 1936, he joined the faculty of the University of Minnesota.  During World War 2 (1939-1945), he designed his first "baby box", a controlled environment chamber for infants.  His daughter Deborah spent part of her first twon years in a chamber. In 1945, Skinner became the chairman of the Department of Psychology at Indiana University.  He joined Harvard's Department of Psychology in 1948.
